Porsche Cayenne S Coupe joins base, Turbo variants
|
PCA—Last week Porsche announced that a new Cayenne S Coupe is joining the base and Turbo variants of the coupe SUV announced in March. With regards to performance, the 434-horsepower S sits between the base and Turbo. We’ve already covered the differences
the coupe body style brings to the Cayenne, which you can read about in our analysis from March. Basically, the Cayenne Coupe gets a lower, sleeker roofline. Where the S differs from the other two models is in its powerplant, a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 also shared with the regular Cayenne S. Accompanying the 434 hp, available from 5,700-6,600 rpm, is 405 pound-feet of torque, which peaks at 1,800 and remains on a plateau until 5,500 rpm.
