PCA—2020 is a year most of us never saw coming. A lot of things we took for granted we now put into question. We know things won’t be the same anymore, but the time away from our cars,
our hobby, from events and other friends allows us to contemplate what is important to us and possibly what changes we are going to make in the years ahead. A year ago, I went through a phase in my life that I had considered my darkest. I needed to refocus, reach out to friends, reset my compass.

| | PCA—First-gen Cayennes have been looking good to me for a while, and it was only a matter of time before I found the right one via The Mart. When
a heavily optioned Crystal Silver S popped up with all the right maintenance freshly done, the deal was closed in a nanosecond. Cosmetically, the car is really quite nice, with nothing glaring on the outside to address, other than maybe a fresh coat of wax, some minor touch-ups, and a small amount of curb rash to repair on the 20-inch Turbo-style wheels.

Motor Biscuit—One of the biggest ironies of modern luxury SUVs and crossovers is that many never leave pavement, despite being perfectly capable off-roaders. For instance, the Lamborghini Urus
and Rolls-Royce Cullinan can genuinely climb rocky grades and speed through the sand. The Mercedes G-Wagon wouldn’t be a status symbol without its capabilities. And the same goes for Porsche’s vehicles. The Cayenne has raced in rallies, and even the brand’s sports cars have been converted for off-roading.

Motor Authority—Most Porsche Cayennes spend their lives in shopping mall parking lots and Starbucks drive-thrus, but they were built for more. The
Cayenne has serious off-road potential, as this build from E-Motion Engineering demonstrates. Detailed in a video from Hoonigan AutoFocus (via Motor1), this Cayenne is a second-generation model with the turbodiesel engine.

| | Motor Trend—Porsche made waves when it announced the next-generation Macan would feature an all-electric model. The company just released its
first EV, the Taycan sport sedan, and is already preparing to branch out into the hotter compact SUV segment. The Macan is due for a redesign anyway, but Porsche's two-pronged strategy is unusual. There will be both conventional, gas-powered Macans and the pure electric model.

Motor1—The Porsche Taycan Turbo S and BMW M8 Gran Coupe are both incredible cars. In fact, both are arguably driver's cars, but not exactly in the same context. While both cars are
performance-oriented and handle well, the Taycan's suspension was designed for agility. The Bimmer won't disappoint around curves, but it leans more toward ride comfort.

| | Top Gear —As the miles accumulate the big Porsche PHEV continues to impress. I love the fact that every control and switch feels like it will
outlast my time on this planet. Gone is the plethora of buttons that ran down the centre of the previous generation and in its place is a clean and simple flat glass surface with immaculately laid out buttons.

Motor Authority—Porsche engineers have been spotted testing a new variant of the Cayenne Coupe. The Cayenne Coupe, as the name suggests, is a coupe-like version of the Cayenne designed
to tackle high-end versions of the BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. It was introduced for 2020 and is currently available in base, S and Turbo variants. This new variant is expected to be a Cayenne GTS Coupe slotting between the S and Turbo. It should arrive next year as a 2022 model.

vehicles, nobody does sport better than Porsche. That’s as it should be, as the 2020 Porsche Macan continues its reign as an exceedingly fun crossover in just about every performance guise. The Macan is the second crossover to come out of the Stuttgart-based sports car maker, and although it's considerably smaller and cheaper than the Cayenne.

will actually do off-road so Billy pulled off his bumpers and we hit Rainbow Falls Off-road park up by Woodland Park! Surprisingly, it performed great especially running at stock height and on winter tires! We had a blast and the FJ got to stretch its legs!

"bestselling model line" to date. After undergoing a mid-cycle refresh for 2019, the 2020 model not only is the fastest Macan in the lineup, but also comes with exceptional handling that can rival even the sportiest of sedans in the market today.

| | Autocar—The classic ‘grand tourer’ might once have been identifiable by the combination of an elegant but surprisingly accommodating coupé bodystyle, a long-striding powertrain, a sporty
but compliant suspension tune and an exotic nameplate. Today, though, we apply that ‘GT’ initialism more widely, to cars as different as four-seater convertibles, mid-engined sports cars, fast hatchbacks and powerful estates. This top 10 chart, then, is populated by the cars in which we’d most like to drive a long way.

Motor 1—Top Gear Host Chris Harris is no stranger to excellent Porsches. In the past, he’s owned a 997 911 GT3 4.0, a 911 GT3 Touring, and currently drives a tastefully specd 991.2 911.
Harris is also involved with Singer and Williams on the creation of the Singer 911 Design Lightweight study so the man knows a thing or two about what it takes to build a great Porsche.
